Moulding
department
Origom moulding
department is the heart of the whole company, as well as the area for
which the most relevant investments are made and to which the utmost
attention has been constantly addressed. Its facilities are the most
state-of-the-art as far as setting, regulation, monitoring and
recording of process parameters are concerned, in order to guarantee
constancy during moulding process and homogeneity of results,
necessary when high-selling volumes are involved.
Finishing process
The finishing
process on parts is carried out with the greatest care.
As for the
phases of deflashing and tumbling Origom relies on a small group of
historical partners, whose performance is constantly monitored by our
quality department. Origom’s post-curing area has been completely
renovated recently installing the most state-of-the-art ovens (5
rotating ovens and 4 static ovens) and systems for temperature drop.
In order to improve the efficiency of our items in terms of assembly
and functioning, Origom offers a diversified variety of surface
treatments with silicone, talcum, graphite powder, chlorine and
semi-permanent PTFE. Moreover, upon specific customer’s request,
Origom is able to carry out various surface
treatments to meet our customers’ demanding needs, from
food-quality items to automotive field requirements.
Inspection
The inspection of finished parts is a key-phase of every production process aimed at guaranteeing the requested quality level on each item. Selection, either manual or automatic, is performed internally on 100% of each production lot. In our automatic selection department there are 9 optic inspection machines able to check surface quality and dimensional parameters both of o-rings and drawn parts. Should manual selection be necessary (for instance, in case of parts of large dimension), Origom can rely on highly-experienced employees
