Italstock produces solely custom moulded parts. Contrary to O-rings, moulded parts have complex shapes and the production requires specially constructed non standard tools. These kinds of tools often consist of multiple parts and need a high level of technology.

In the process of development it is important to consider a number of aspects like:

• How and where to inject the material in the mould

• How to unload the product

• The location of the parting lines

• The finishing of the product

• Which compound can be used for the given shape

Quality is a major concern. Italstock is an ISO 9001 and TS 16949 certified company.

All the parts we develop in consultation with our customers meet the stringent requirements as demanded by them.

A statistical process control of the production guarantees a constant quality. The data recorded for every single production lot can be used for a quality survey afterwards.

Together with our own compounder LTE, we can perform tests on several compounds to choose the most appropriate for the application. We have several hundreds of formulations in our database but in case this is not sufficient we can develop a compound that meets the requirements for a specific application. NDS-Seals will advise and support in this process.
